All XAMPP deals come with Multibyte Line (phpmbstring.dll) extension installed.
If you have accidentally eliminated DLL file from
php/ext
folder, simply add it back (get the copy from XAMPP go store - its downloadable).
If you have got deleted the accompanying INI settings line from
php.ini
file, include it back as nicely:
extension=phpmbstring.dll
Also, make certain to restart your webserver (Apache) making use of XAMPP handle -panel.
Additional Details on Enabling PHP Extensions
- install extension (elizabeth.g. putphpmbstring.dllinto
/XAMPP/php/ext
index) - inphp.ini, make sure extension directory specified (y.h.
extensiondir = 'ext'
) - assure correct build of DLL document (elizabeth.g. 32bit thread-safe VC9 just works with DLL data files built using exact exact same equipment and construction: 32bit thread-safe VC9)
- ensure PHP API versions match up (Ifnot, as soon as you reboot the webserver you will obtain related error.)
